Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Complete of a 2 year Degree in Machining Technology or CNC Machining is preferred
- 3 plus years of Multi-Turret CNC Mill Experience- Compensated based on Experience
- Demonstrated ability to read/understand multi axis CNC programs and layouts required
- Must understand Blueprints, Measuring Equipment, Machinist Math, Tooling and GD&T
- Strong interpersonal, written, oral communications, problem solving and mechanical skills
- Lift and carry up to 40lbs
Responsibilities:
- Setup, adjust, and operator a variety of multi axis an multi turret CNC Lathe
- Ability to calculate and make adjsutment to feeds and speeds to maintain tight tolerance parts on a variety of metals, including exotic alloys
- Adjust tools and replace as needed
- Ability to read and interpret CNC Code on twin Turret Lathes with live tooling
- Must read and understand layouts, job packets, and blueprints for the parts being run, including GD&T
- 2nd Shift: 4pm to 2:30am-wage listed is base but we offer a 12% shift premium
CNC Machinist- Master

We are seeking a Master CNC Machinist, who can lead, coach, and develop department operations, while working on the floor closely with co-workers within their department.
Qualifications:
- Two (2) year Technical degree in a related field
- 15+ years of CNC machine experience, majority in aerospace is required
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T, SPC, mechanical inspection methods and trigonometry
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Leads by example.
- Thorough knowledge of machining methods and procedures as they apply to work assignments
- Demonstrated ability to perform and inspect assigned machining functions, including complex and complicated processes
- Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:
- Lead/Coach/Train/Develop/Mentor machinist/operators and cross trains current employees on operations, set-ups, and procedures; assures proper and complete knowledge of such training is signed off.
- Highly advanced and skilled machinist. Go-to machinist for tight tolerance, high risk aerospace machining.
- Support team with 1st Article runs, Inspection with Aerospace grade materials and Aerospace standards
- Manage set-up, operation, and trouble shooting of a cell of 12 – 15 CNC machines.
- Adheres to Nelson Numeric Core values, safety and quality requirements, Communicates with the team, engineering, and management
- Coordinates daily production needs that address safety, quality and productivity.
- Programming support in Gibbs and/or Mastercam
- Experience with Multi Spindle, Multi Turret CNC machines, and Live Tooling
- Create corrective action plans for quality spills, knowledge gaps, or any mishaps in assigned cells. Make recommendations for improvements

CNC Machinist- Weekend

Quality Engineer

The QA Engineer will be responsible to driving quality improvements by working cross functionally and exhibiting leadership utilizing quality system tools such as root cause analysis, CAPA, APQP, and supplier quality accountability. Ensures compliance with all required standards, identify issues, recommend solutions/improvements, and create quality documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Quality Assurance or equivalent experience 6 plus years of experience in an aerospace industry.
- AS9100 Aerospace experience dealing with machined parts and components.
- Must be familiar working with aerospace quality standards to interpret and extract requirements.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain a high level of efficiency and accuracy.
- Experience coordinating and executing APQP processes.
- Experience responding to CAPAs, utilizing 8-D, 5-Whys, 6M, and/or other problems solving tools.
- Must be able to apply skilled mechanical inspection methods (caliper, micrometer, CMM etc.).
- Must be computer literate with the ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SPC software.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the creation of required quality documentation consisting of bubble printing required documents using required preferred software InpectionXpert and using the data to create and release
- Quality Inspection Plans utilized by team members within the organization to meet both internal and external requirements.
- Generate Engineer Change Requests to foster continual improvements within the processes.
- Work with Quality and Manufacturing for resolution for opportunities for improvements with quality and manufacturing documentation and processes.
- Primary quality ownership for APQP/Pre-Production review process, and coordinate actions with interdisciplinary team.
- Perform higher level internal AS9100 audits, and external audits of our suppliers.
- Liaison between Quality and Manufacturing for resolution for opportunities for improvements with quality and manufacturing documentation and processes
